BENTELER Steel/Tube launched a two week school supply campaign to benefit 30 homeless, school-aged children at Providence House.
Thanks to this contribution, children will begin the new school year equipped with new backpacks and supplies.
BENTELER Steel/Tube will present their contributions to students at their production facility at The Port of Caddo/Bossier in south Shreveport this week.
BENTELER Steel/Tube is actively involved in the communities surrounding its production locations and supports efforts which contribute to a brighter future for all. The local management and employees have been champions of Providence House and continue to actively partner with the local community to make a difference.
Executive Director Verni Howard shared, “While our mission of breaking the homeless cycle remains the same, our focus has shifted towards education. The more that we invest in our children’s lives the better our chances of creating a long-term thirst for learning. We continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of our corporate supporters.”
