The Community Foundation of North Louisiana and their initiative LINCC, Louisiana Initiative for Nonprofit and Community Collaboration, is guiding community relief efforts for the recent flooding.

Community Foundation and LINCC leadership have been active in all VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) meetings with representatives from homeland security, sheriff offices, nonprofit organizations, businesses and government.

LINCC (www.lincc.us) is the one-stop website the community can visit to learn about volunteer opportunities, goods and services needs, and coordinated relief efforts. The website is updated daily with current and accurate information.

Monetary donations can be made to The Community Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund. Monies from the fund will only be granted to organizations aiding in flooding relief efforts in North Louisiana. No grant will be given to individuals. Informational for individuals looking for assistance can be found on LINCC.  The Community Foundation is working with state and national organizations to bring in funding to our community to aid the nonprofits providing services and securing support for families and individuals.
