A year after Waitr moved into the Shreveport market, the food delivery and pick-up dining app has seen massive growth.
A press release cited that 10,000 people have signed up for the free app, more than 100 restaurants have partnered with it, and hundreds of drivers are employed in the service.
“It has been a labor of love. As a city team, we all love Waitr and the service we provide,” said Dominique Hankins, Waitr’s Growth Marketing Manager for Shreveport. “We cannot thank the communities of Shreveport and Bossier enough for giving us the opportunity to serve them. We are excited to continue growing Waitr in Shreveport, working hard each day to add new restaurants, gain new users and provide drivers with jobs.”
Waitr’s Shreveport restaurant partners have seen significant upticks in their respective bottom lines as a direct result of the app.
Dave Helferich, the GM of Buffalo Wild Wings in Bossier says, “Since joining up with Waitr, we have seen a positive increase in take-out orders.” Meanwhile, Dianna Hernandez, the GM of Posados Café, is amazed at how easy Waitr is to use. “Everyone with Waitr is always so helpful in making to-go orders successful.
