Local Chambers of Commerce will host their Legislative Summit Aug. 22, 11:30 a.m., at the Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport.
Attendees will hear from the President of the Louisiana State Senate, Senator John A. Alario, Jr., and Speaker of the Louisiana House of Representatives, Representative Taylor F. Barras. With special guests, Senator Eric LaFleur, Chairman Senate Finance; Senator Jean-Paul J. Morrell, Chairman Senate Revenue & Fiscal Affairs; Representative Cameron Henry, Chairman House Appropriations.
